An incident occurred where a man in his 30s, who was trying to board a passenger ship departing from Greece, drowned after the crew pushed him into the sea. According to the Greek state-run ERT

According to reports, the incident occurred on the afternoon of the 5th in Piraeus, a port city southwest of Athens, the capital of Greece. An autopsy confirmed that the cause of his death was drowning. The ferry was ordered to return to port, and Greek prosecutors arrested and detained the captain and three crew members after receiving statements from the passengers and crew.
The name of the deceased man was identified as Antonis Kariotis and he was 36 years old. The man, who works in a fruit shop on the island of Crete, is said to have been in Athens to meet his latest friends.
