A man in his 30s was arrested on the afternoon of the 13th on suspicion of threatening a person with a weapon during an argument while parking in Gangnam, Seoul.

As a result of the police investigation, Mr. Hong was unlicensed at the time, and he was also charged with violating the Road Traffic Act.

At that time, Mr. Hong left the scene by car, parked his Lamborghini on nearby Apgujeong Rodeo Street, and ran away.

Accordingly, the police analyzed CCTV and urgently arrested Mr. Hong in front of a restaurant in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, around 7:40 p.m., about three hours later.

Then, the next day (12th), an arrest warrant was applied for Mr. Hong.

▶Mr. Hong was unable to control his body properly when he was arrested, and in the simple drug reagent test conducted, he tested positive for three types of drugs, including Philopon, MDMA (Ecstasy)바카라, and Ketamine.

Mr. Hong visited a dermatology clinic in Nonhyeon-dong just before committing the crime, and also visited a hospital in Sinsa-dong while on the run. Mr. Hong told the police that he visited these hospitals and received sedative anesthesia.

The police requested the National Institute of Scientific Investigation (National Forensic Service) to conduct a detailed drug analysis, secured Hong’s hospital treatment records, and are also looking into suspicions of drug use. These charges may be added in the future. In addition, the police are investigating whether illegal activities, such as the use of drugs other than medical purposes, were committed at the hospitals where Hong stated that he received treatment. This is expected to gain further momentum with Mr. Hong being arrested.
